Thracia stutchburyi
Thracia stutchburyi Huber, 2010 was introduced as a replacement name for Anatina ovalis Stutchbury, 1830, preoccupied by Anatina ovalis Brown, 1827. Stutchbury (1830) gave the following description of the species:
"A. testâ inmquivalvi, tenui, pellucidâ ; latere postico hrevi, truncato ; valvâ dextrâ convexâ, margine superiors sulcatâ, marginem inflexum alterius valvae recipiente ; valvâ sinistrâ convexiusculâ ; cartilagine cardinis internâ, obliquâ, elongatâ : impressione pallii sinu magno ; long. 8/12, lat. 3/12, alt. 5/12.
Shell inaequivalve, thin, pellucid, posterior side truncated ; right valve convex, superior margin sulcated, receiving the inflected edge of the other valve ; left valve slightly convex. Hinge with an oblique elongate internal cartilage. Sinus of the impression of the mantle large."
